Willie D. Coston Jr., 85, of Staatsburg, NY passed away on November 24, 2016 at the Renaissance Rehab and Nursing Ctr. He was born on September 1, 1931 in Troy, Alabama to the late Willie D. Coston Sr. and Elizabeth Kitchen. He was in the US Air Force and received A National Defense Service Metal. Willie married Rosa Ann McCullough on July 29, 1956 in Ft Walton Beach, FL lasting 60 years of marriage. He was owner of Blossom Painters & Decorators in Staatsburg, NY retiring in August 2003. Willie enjoyed driving his Lincoln and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include; his wife Rosa Ann at home, children; Sandi Lee Turner (David) Memphis, TN, Larry Coston, Pok, NY, Willie D. Coston III (Carol) Kerhonkson, NY, Fredrick Coston (Roberta) Pok, NY, Lawonda Coston, Pok, NY , Geneo Coston (Shana) Staatsburg, NY, Tonie Coston (Lisa), Hyde Park, NY and Elizabeth Coston-Hall Milton, NY, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings; Georgia Elliot Ocala, FL, Charles Coston (Vicki) Binghamton, NY, Joseph Coston (Lynn) Richmond, VA Tony Coston Oakland, CA Gregory Coston (Bobbie) Red Hook, NY, Cathy Griffin, Charlotte, NC, and Rhonda Bostick (Michael) Menands, NY, his aunt Rosa Harris of Troy, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family. He was predeceased by a son; Avery Coston, a sister; Verdelle Griffin, and 2 brothers; Clarence Coston and James "Sonny" Coston.

Visitation is Friday, December 2, 2016 10-11AM at the Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home Inc. 39 So Hamilton St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 845-452-1840.
