Chanel Claire Chanel “Nelly", Mouks, Moo Moo” Claire of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away August 6, 2021. Chanel was born June 6, 1992 in Brooklyn, NY to Cecelia Claire and Ivory Thomas. Chanel was a Clinical Nurse Manager at NY Presbyterian Allen Hospital. Also, current grad school student. Chanel “Nelly” had a love for her pets “Batman” Bruce Wayne her dog and Izzy her cat. Chanel also played the flute from early childhood and throughout high school. She Graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor of Science. Chanel had a love for the outdoors, camping and hiking. General Interests Loved animals, helping people, outdoors, hiking, camping, rowing, kayaking, music, books, baking and cooking, laughing, soccer, she had a strong love for learning. During high school, she volunteered at the American Red Cross in Poughkeepsie, NY. During college, she volunteered at Pets Alive Animal Sanctuary in Westchester, NY and at the Angellicle Cats Rescue in New York, NY.
