I really wanted to come down to the service today, but contracted COVID at the last minute.  Have to admit, I only chatted with Don a handful of times, but remember him as real nice guy.  My condolences to the entire extended family.

Thinking of the Cookingham family and loved ones who knew Donnie. I had the pleasure of meeting Donnie twice -- once when I was just a kid (for the Cookingham Reunion back in the mid 80's) and again in 2008 when my father (cousin Pete) and I took a trip to NY to visit family. I remember spending time with Donnie and thinking he was a pretty cool guy; he was such a good man to his family, his friends, and his community. I will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of Donny’s passing. There are a lot of memories of Don living on the old road - Cookingham Drive. He was a true friend of the entire Tompkins family and many others. Rest In Peace old friend.
