Florence G. Holsipple

Florence G. Holsipple, 81, a longtime resident of Staatsburg NY went to heavenly glory on April 22, 2018 at her home.  She was born in Weehawken NJ on October 28, 1936 to the late Frank and Florence Krall.  On August 14, 1954 she married Eving W. Holsipple at Faith Assembly of God Church.

  Florence held a number of bookkeeper positions at the following companies; Chief Electronics, Duso Chemical, Leonard Rachmilowitz CPA, Mid-Hudson Libraries, Trinity Broadcast Network, The Clock Man Gallery, and the Girl Scouts of America.  She also had her own business Bookkeeper Services.

  Florence loved to cook, arrange flowers, travel and had a number of hobbies.  She was a blood donor for over 25 years.  She had membership to the Girl Scouts and the Mid-Hudson Women’s Network Assoc.

  Florence is survived by two children; Kevin F. Holsipple, Lorraine Casullo and her husband Joseph; grandchildren; Joseph Casullo and Daniel Severing; great grandchildren; Aesir, Jack, Scarlett and Scott; nieces and nephews; Linda Krall of NY, Andrea Ottman of MA, Daryl Holsipple of NY, Mark Holsipple of OH, Sharon Jurist, Dawn Holsipple Girod, Melanie Holsipple Hedd all of CA.

  Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her husband Eving W. Holsipple and brother Frank Krall.

  Visitation will be held Friday April 27, 2018 from 9:30am to 11:30am at the Faith Assembly of God Church, 254 Spackenkill Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.  Funeral service will follow at 11:30am with Pastor Edward Jones officiating.  Burial to follow at Union Cemetery, Route 9G, Hyde Park, NY.  In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made in Florence’s memory to Faith Assembly of God Church, Building Fund, 25 Golf Club Lane, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
