Henry L Williams

Henry L. Williams was born in Aiken, South Carolina on August 21, 1945 to Eleanor Williams and the late Wyman Williams Sr. He attended school in Aiken County South Carolina. Henry was employed at Suffolk State School for Children & Adults with disabilities for 10 years. He worked in the Food Service Department . He also worked at I.W. Industries for 30 years in Melville, New York. He retired from I.W. Industries to be with his family in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. On January 30, 2022, the most amazing father, grandfather and great grandfather was called home although we needed you, God needed you more.

Henry leaves to mourn his mother Eleanor Williams of Burlington, V.T., his companion of 36 years Eunice Bass of Poughkeepsie, N.Y and their seven children: Shanta (William) Pierce of Wyandanch, N.Y. Rashem (Alesha Mike) of Poughkeepsie, N.Y Domonique (Frank) Williams of Poughkeepsie N.Y., Nicole (Marcus) Williams of Norfolk VA., Roxie (David) Williams-Coleman Poughkeepsie N.Y., Master Sergeant Ashley Williams of Hawaii, Dayshawn (Kristanta) Williams of Hyde Park N.Y.

24 grandchildren, one great grandchild, three brothers: Wallace (Lillian Wilson) Williams of Sea Pleasant, MD.,  Richard (Maxine) Williams of Fayetteville, Edward Williams of Burlington VT. and two sisters: Betsy (Truman)Williams-Stroman of Springfield, SC. and Ruth (Johnny)Dupree of Forest Park, GA. and a host of aunts, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
