Kathy T. Calenti

Kathy T. Calenti , age 70, of Highland, New York, passed away on November 28, 2022, at her home.

Kathy suffered from advanced pulmonary disease. She was born in Newburgh, New York, to Dominick

F. and Teresa (DiMilto) Yozzo.

Kathy graduated from Newburgh Free Academy, Newburgh, New York. She received an associates

degree from Schenectady Community College, Schenectady, New York. She developed lasting

friendships on her journey in sobriety and was an inspiration to those who knew her.

She is survived by sons, Christopher Pennes, New York City, Chezzy Calenti, Highland, New York and

Guy Calenti Jr., North Carolina. In addition, she has several grandchildren; she was especially close with

her eldest grand-daughter, Alexus. Her sister, Irene Yozzo, Poughkeepsie, New York, survives. Kathy

was predeceased by her devoted companion, Frank A. Fisher.

The family wishes to express deep appreciation to Hudson Valley Hospice, especially nurses Sara

Lawson, Denise Duffy, and the entire staff who cared for her in her final months. She had a caring and

devoted Home Health Aide,”V”, whose kindness and support will remain with us always. Prior to her

home care, she received excellent care from the doctors at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York

City.

Services and Interment will be at the discretion of the family.
