  Marion Elizabeth Johnson-Stanton passed on to her eternal life peacefully at home with family and friends Sunday, May 30, 2021.  Born September 14, 1927, Marion was the second child of eighteen, born to Clara I. and Thomas Malcolm (Mack) Johnson in Poughkeepsie NY.

She was a devoted, loving, and caring wife and mother and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church since childhood and a committed servant of the Lord.  Marion worked over 30 years as a nurse at Vassar...

When you saw that expression, on her face you knew it was Mrs. Stanton and you were about to get some help, being the church Clothing Bank or whatever. She was from good people. She is dearly missed.
