Pamela Plass-Green

    Pamela Plass Green, 57 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on April 10, 2022, at The Grand at River Valley in Poughkeepsie.  Born on October 30, 1964, she was the daughter of William Plass and Margaret Wheeler.  On February 4, 2004, she married Thomas Green who predeceased her in November of 2021.  She enjoyed crocheting/knitting and spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

  Survivors include her Father Bill Plass, daughters; Sara Vaughan (Brandon Elmendorf). Jamie Plass Freshwater (Matthew Freshwater), her one and only boy John Vaughan (Ashley Perrotta), loving sisters Vanessa and Beth; brothers Russel and Billy, long time friend and children’s father Johnny Vaughan; 15 grandchildren including Shy’Tayshia and Ja’Niyah who helped take care of her till the very end.  Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces and nephews.  Besides her mother and Husband, she was predeceased by several other loved ones.  Her Family would like to give a big thank you to Hudson Valley Cancer Center and The Grand at River Valley for the love and care they gave Pam. 

  God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me”.  A golden heart stopped beating, Hard-Working hands at rest.  God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. 

 A memorial service will be held on Friday April 15, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm at the Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home Inc. 39 So Hamilton St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 845-452-1840.
