Carrie, Clyde and Family, I am so terribly sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad, Wally. I remember him well and saw him a few years ago at Vassar Golf Course. I will always remember him as a kind, smart and fantastic man who had a great sense of humor. He was always friendly and always ready with a kind, genuine hello and smile. And I have great memories of your family and our family taking vacations to New England and the Jersey shore as he was a good friend of my Dad. We all had great times together. So again, so sorry for your loss but rest assured he is smiling down from Heaven and shining down love on you all. God Bless Wally and may he rest in eternal peace. John

Carrie, Clyde & Jana,
Your Dad was a very good friend for many years and although we lost touch in recent years, I did have the good fortune to spend an afternoon with him the summer before last. I found him to be his usual self, upbeat and cheerful as he filled me on the developments in all of your lives. As you all know, your Dad wasn’t particularly fond of parting with money and I still have in my desk three dollars that I won from him in a golf match. I have a note stapled to the money that says " Wally’s money ", it will probably always stay there, because I smile and think of your Dad whenever I notice it. Maureen and I are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
